Maria Larkman

Maria Larkman´s art lies firmly in the field of Pop art where inspiration from popular culture, advertisement and communication is mixed with own ideas and expressions. Her art touches the themes love, passion and lust.

Inspired by films, music and theatre Maria creates dream like art. Cities like Lisbon, Barcelona and Nice early inspired her to use cities as the backdrop for her art. Today Stockholm is her main source of inspiration which she explores and combines with various ideas.

Maria has developed her own style and technique Lacollage. It´s a mixed media technique where she blends photo, painting and lacquer. Maria has been working as an artist since 2002 with exhibitions both in Sweden and abroad.
